C.A.M.P. Kindness

If we are never kind to others, what good are we in the world? None.

We're experiencing higher levels of stress with school assignments, extracurricular activities, church, jobs, and volunteer activities. We have turned insensitive to the needs of others unless a catastrophic act occurs. It is time to bring back the art of random and planned acts of kindness. It is not right to be so focused on your own goals that you fail to see needs around you. We all have some act of kindness or generosity that we can share - material possessions, companionship, comfort, encouragement, and care.

Bullying, character development, youth motivation, literacy, elderly care, mentoring, homelessness, child-abuse and neglect are all areas that can be helped with the art of being kind. Everyone desires to be happy. Therefore, loving kindness is the antidote. We must "pay attention" and "see" the suffering. Then, we will know where and how we are needed.

Reach out to others with C.A.M.P.  Kindness

(Compassion - Action - Motivation - Patience)

C- compassionate to be aware of other's feelings

A - Act and do something by volunteering for an organization or an individual

(volunteerism).

M - Motivate others to practice kindness by committing

three unscheduled acts of generosity every day. ( Random Kindness )

P - Patience has to be plentiful. We are dealing with human beings. Everyone you meet is bearing a burden and fighting a battle. Plan on your reward being the joy of giving or helping. Most important, stress the need for the person who has been helped to help someone else.
